Who the data controller is

Life Can Be So Easy S.L., tax ID B93135028, registered at Av. de los Boliches, 4, 29640 Fuengirola, Málaga, is the controller of your data.

You can contact us at info@kilowatt.es about anything relating to your personal data.

What we collect

When you fill in the form we collect only what we need to prepare your comparison:

• Your full name.
• Your email and phone number, and which of the two you prefer us to reply on.
• Whether the supply is for a home or a business.
• Your electricity bill file, which contains your CUPS, supply address, access tariff, contracted power and consumption.
• Any comment you choose to add in the notes field.

We also record the country the form was sent from and the date of your consent, as evidence that the submission was legitimate.

What we use it for

We use your data solely to analyse your bill, build a comparison of fixed-price offers and send you the result through the channel you chose.

If you accept an offer, we use the data needed to arrange the switch with the supplier you pick.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

Legal basis

The legal basis is your explicit consent, given when you tick the box on the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a).

If you take out an offer through us, the basis becomes performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).

Who we share it with

To deliver the service we work with the following processors:

• Energy suppliers: only the data needed to request an offer or arrange a switch, and only when you ask us to.
• Supabase: database hosting and storage of the files you send us.
• Resend: delivery of the emails we send you.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and protection against automated submissions.

All of them process data on our instructions and under the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long we keep it

We keep your bill and contact details for a maximum of 24 months from our last contact, so we can revisit your offer if the market moves.

If you sign a contract through us, we keep the associated data for the statutory periods that apply to the contractual and tax relationship.

You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@kilowatt.es. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

The files you send us are stored in private buckets that are not publicly accessible, and access is limited to the people preparing your offer.
